Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ's

Why do you need a drone to see on top of the roof?

It is a safer and more affordable way to inspect a roof, chimney, gutter, solar panel or hard-to-reach windows than ladders and scaffolding.

What type of images do you capture?

My drone camera can capture high quality images. powered by a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor featuring Dual Native ISO Fusion, a f/1.7 aperture, and 2.4μm 4-in-1 pixels.

What video-capture capabilities does the drone have?

4K/60fps HDR - 0-bit D-Log M. The natural colour gradations and delicate full-spectrum details mean every detail is captured.

Are there any circumstances where you wont be able to operate the drone

The drone operates best in low wind and no precipitation (rain, snow, fog, hail etc.). If the weather isn't good on the day of your image-capture, we will re-arrange for another day. We try to give you at least 24 hours notice if we have to cancel due to weather.

If the area has any obstacles such as tree-cover / cranes, it may be difficult to get a good shot of the area. Let your pilot know before if access to the area is limited.

If you live close to an area of restricted airspace, we may not be able to fly. Providing your detailed location to our pilots will help them check if there are any restrictions in your area. Note that there are sometimes temporary restrictions even if you don't live in or near a restricted area. Speak to your pilot for more details.

Are your pilots qualified?

Our pilots are all qualified and hold at least an A2 Certificate of Competency issued by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
